I have been working in the space of Investment Advisory for more than a decade. I am a passionate investment enthusiast and have been inspired by legendary investors.
This website is intended to create awareness and understand the pitfalls and fallacies which an average investor might make in his investment journey.
The facade under which practitioners operate warrants a revolution this website tries to plug the trust deficit and unravel the truth. This website can act as a guiding light to investors caught in the haze of indecisiveness and opaque behavior of Practitioners.

The Legends who Inspired Me

I couldn’t have bargained for a better human attribute(rationality) (which we tend to lack in abundance) to be part of the musings that i would like to pen down in this space. I would like to give a disclaimer at the onset, the post that represents are completely outcome of my independent thoughts and has got no connection with the firm I am associated with. (Work in the capacity of Investment Specialist/Advisor)

That disclaimer redeems a bit of pressure and allows me to be expressive and independent. My thought process towards developing a mental framework is the culmination of whom I admire and read, must say there is a laundry list of folks whose thoughts have not only tickled a few brain cells but have touched the subconscious.

But one person who really completely shook me and just transcended my thoughts to a different horizon was none other than Guru, oracle of Ohama, the legendary Warren Buffet, Mr. Benjamin Graham.  The principle written by him back in the 1930s to the 1950s is still relevant and, Ben was a real pioneer of the concept of Value Investing. Simply put buying something below its fair value. Over the years Charlie Munger polished and developed this philosophy ( as an influence by attaching #Quality as an important ingredient and was a major influence over Mr. Buffet and overall Berkshire Hathaway’s process and framework. So its obvious that those two old boys Warren & Charlie have been the biggest force in shaping my thought process in my investment journey.

Now the whole idea of me to come up with this piece was to let you as a reader come to know where I am coming from.

Following folks also have been a great influencing force:-

Seth KlarmanRay Dalio, Joel Greenblatt, Prof. Tano Santos of Columbia School of Business.

Ray is a well-known celebrity on Linkedin and one of the biggest and most celebrated fund managers tracks the economic cycles as his life depends on it and has been able to carve a niche in his space. Joel Greenblatt in his book, ‘The Little Book That Beats the Market’ just opens up the world of Investing to the common man and gives that elusive Magic Formula to the world, wherein chances of a layperson going wrong over long periods are very less.

I am a keen listener to podcasts of Prof Tano Santos, he tries to bridge the gap between academia and practice, and keeps the art of value investing alive.
